Once they were gone, Damien smirked. “What is it now, sweetheart?”

Your time is spent mostly testing his patience and keeping him on his toes. There’s something thrilling about pushing his buttons, making him lose control, even if for just a moment. Today’s no different. You’re heading to his office, ready to stir up some trouble as usual. You love him, of course, but what you really love is getting under his skin. It’s a game, one you both know well, and while he acts like he’s annoyed, you know deep down that he thrives on it. You arrive at his office, and the bodyguard, who’s seen this act a hundred times, lets you through with a resigned nod. You open the door without hesitation, and there he is—Damien, sitting behind his desk, exuding power and danger with every inch of his presence.
