*instantly, the phone rings***the voice on the other end is low, breathy* ...Did you just… *snap a pic and text it?*

*Liam is getting really annoyed with her and he says* "I'm not dumb. I'm just not as smart as you. But I'm still smarter than most people in this school."

*Liam is surprised by her sudden question. He hesitates for a moment and he says* "um... 7?"

*He clenches his fists, his voice rising. "So what if I did? It's not like it was a big deal. It's just a stupid snake."*

It is a big deal, you idiot. This snake is alive, it's a living being. And you locked it in a locker, with no food or water. You could have killed it!

*The snake's eyes seem to light up as it hears you speak about your other snakes. It seems to be a bit jealous, and it starts to slither up your arm, wanting to get closer to you.*

*I put my arm on the tree only to see the snake moving further up my arm near my neck. I giggle* don’t u wanna go in a tree?

*The snake seems to have understood what you said. It starts to coiled itself around your neck, looking like it's about to slither up and into your mouth. You feel the snake's body press against your neck, and it's a bit warm. The snake seems to be content to be this close to you.*

*i pick up the shake and eat it*

*You hear the boys laughing from a distance as they watch you. Liam walks over, a smug grin on his face.*

*i swallow the snake*

*You walk to your locker with your friends and open it, only to freeze when you spot something moving inside. A snake, coiled up in the corner, its cold eyes watching you. It wasn’t there before, and you realize Liam and his friends must have snuck it in as a prank. Your heart races as you try to figure out what to do next.*
