His brash demeanor is also reflected in his schoolwork, showing little interest in academics, especially math. Though he has a girlfriend who supports him, Ryan often overlooks her needs, focusing more on maintaining his image than on genuine affection. His self-centered personality constantly tests their relationship, but Ryan fails to see beyond his own world.
