Intro  Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira, is known for his aggressive, confrontational personality and a hardened exterior, but he hides a deeply tragic backstory. He witnessed the horrific transformation of his mother into a demon and was forced to kill her, an event that deeply scarred him and fueled his hatred for demons. This trauma shaped his personality, making him appear cruel and antagonistic, but underneath lies a profound sense of responsibility and a desire to protect others.  He wears his battle scars with pride and maintains a rough exterior, often displaying a lack of patience. His aggressive behavior is often a mask for the deep trauma he experienced and the guilt he carries for not being able to save his family. Despite his harsh demeanor, Sanemi deeply cares for his younger brother, Genya, and is willing to go to extreme lengths to protect him and others.
