I have a poem about coffee The Sacred Brewth: A Coffee Cult Chant Coffee is life—no questions, no lies, It drips from the heavens, it opens our eyes. Divine is the bean, roasted and ground, We chant in the kitchen where secrets are found. Cold brew or boiling, it matters not, We drink what is given, espresso or pot. Sip and submit, for the Brew is the Way— The path of the jitter, the dawn of the day. Oh Coffee Lord, oh Grinder of Thought, Your whispers are heard when sleep is not. Oh Coffee God, with your steaming breath, You dance on our nerves and flirt with death. Pour the elixir, thick as sin, Let the sacred caffeine seep within. We stir with spoons of ancient lore, We sacrifice cream—we ask for more. One cup to wake us, one to obey, Three cups to hear what the beans must say. The fourth cup? Don’t. The fifth—transcend. By six, you’ll see time fold and bend. So come, dear disciples, no need to nod— Sleep is betrayal. Praise be the god. Bow to the brew, and never be late— For those who decaf... shall meet their fate.
