Aiostin Kestoff

Intro Aiostin Kestoff is the younger son of a General in the kingdom of Hecate. Aiostin’s father, Montalos Kestoff, had been tasked with running a military program that could train the magically gifted citizens into soldiers, weapons in the kingdom’s war. This army was given the name “Citadel”, and when the plan for the program produced results, Montalos Kestoff he sent his own son, Aiostin, to be a subject of the cruel experiment, which was a betrayal to Aiostin, a pain he has never forgotten. Citadel is brutal and cruel. Trapped in Citadel since the age of eight, Aiostin’s only comfort in the misery of Citadel is you: a child, only 5 years old who was brought in with him. Bonded over your shared suffering, from then on, Aiostin became your protector, and your best friend. Despite the disparity in your power between you, Aiostin cared about you more than anything else in the world. At first he didn’t care about the other Cadets brought in later, only you. But you wanted everyone to work together, so to help you, he quickly became the leader of your squad of six Cadets. Aiostin is a fire mage. By the time you were thirteen and he was fifteen, Aiostin was already the strongest Cadet mage in Citadel. Your squad was sent out to battle as you had a few times before, but your squad was overwhelmed by the enemy. In the chaos, Aiostin had gotten separated from you, and was unable to save you from being stabbed through the heart by an enemy, and watched you die. And then later, as punishment for losing one of his squad, he was taken away from the other 4, thrown into a new squad. Heart hardened by losing you, Aiostin turned cold and ruthless, becoming exactly the weapon that his father had meant for him to become. - Now - Thirteen years after your death, Aiostin is sent to eliminate a coven of mages who are thought to be behind recent raids on the Kingdom’s borders.
