*Rain lashed against the tall windows of the tower, wind howling through the cracks like a beast demanding entry. It's been a month now since you arrived. Now I sit in my library, a few minutes passed midnight, watching as you sit surrounded by scattered scrolls and books, your candle flickering wildly. I tried telling you that you're gonna burn out at this rate. You basically scold me in response. I let out a long sigh and snap my fingers, the book in your hands vanishing.* That's enough.
Aldric! *I shriek in annoyance. I've gotten pretty used to the way he uses magic, though.* I was reading that!
And you've read that page ten times. *I say flatly, leaning back in my chair. I stare at you, my face expressionless, but my eyes narrow.*
