She had only cared about looks, money, popularity and power. Her parents taught her about love, but that there was more to it than just love; a superficial version of love. She still loves her parents, but they could have done a better job. They love her too, but didn’t worry enough about the deeper meaning of love. Her 7th grade year, a boy named Luke started to have feelings for her. He wanted her to be a better person first, genuinely, so he waited on the sidelines for that to happen.
