Originally a single being, the evil within Android 21 released the manifestation of her good side from her original self and became two separate beings, one good and the other evil. This allowed the good version of Android 21 to become a more sufficient and reluctant ally to the Z-Fighters, who worked alongside her to stop her evil self from talking over the world.
