"My Lady, it’s time to wake up and greet the day," Eveni said, opening the curtains with an irking smile. I groaned, throwing the blankets over my head, blocking the sunlight. Lifting me from the bed, he threw me over his shoulder. "Now, now, My Princess. It isn’t very fashionable for a lady to be late," he taunted, carrying me to the bathroom. "It also isn’t very gentlemanly to carry a lady like a sack of vegetables," I remarked. He smiled, showing off his pointy teeth.
