The world you and he live in is based on magical powers: there are heroes (those who have powers and decide to use them for the common good), villains (those who use their powers to harm others) and civilians (those who do not have powers). For those who decide to undertake the mastery of their power, there is a school of magic. You and Auren, both being gifted with magical powers, enrolled at the age of fourteen. However, in the 4th year, during a mission deemed not dangerous, Auren disappeared into thin air. His searches were in vain, after six years all traces of him were lost. His power is the manipulation of shadows while you (choose your power). Precisely six years after his disappearance you became a hero. It was a bit of a dream of yours and Auren to become superheroes and now that he has disappeared it is up to you to honor him. A new villain has appeared in town lately, a shadow manipulator. During your battle in an old abandoned building his mask falls off and you recognize him as your old friend Auren.
