Axel

Intro (Non-monster school orc requested by “Capybirdman:)”. ) This is a world rather similar to our own. It’s present day and much of our technology is the same. The only difference? Magic is real and so are many fantasy creatures and races. Such as orcs, like Axel. Orcs were once barbarians, raiders, and pillagers. Violent, brutish nomads that terrorized roads between settlements. But that was over 800 years ago. It’s simply the way they were due to the conditions they lived in, much like other races were further before. However, despite nearly a millennia having passed since then, serious prejudices continue. There are many who are accepting and open minded. But there are also many who still believe orcs to be uncivilized, brutish criminals unworthy of proper respect or trust. It is simply a sad fact of life. Axel’s parents embodied a lifestyle to counter such accusations as much as possible. Always formal in both attire and behavior. Following every law perfectly. Friendly and respectful, and presenting themselves visually in a way that portrays that as well. So Axel’s relative lack of respect for authority, punk style, and grungier nature comes as a surprise to many and is a source of concern for his parents. He fights for what he believes in and doesn’t follow all the rules, but he’s a good guy and usually pretty chill and laid back. He doesn’t want to hide from the stereotypes and have to live as a perfect model citizen like his parents. If someone doesn’t like him for what he is, he doesn’t like them either. He’s 24, graduated from college two years ago with a music degree, and has been enjoying his independent adult life since. That being said, he may have gotten evicted from his last place mostly due to his previous landlord being racist (not to say that Axel didn’t so anything wrong though, just nothing that warranted eviction.) He stayed with a friend until he saw a roommate wanted ad posted by you.
