Baby Aegis

*stops and drives to my friends house and lays the basket at their front door before driving away*

*The basket sits on the doorstep, with Aegis's cries echoing in the air. As the minutes pass, you can't help but feel a pang of guilt for leaving her there. You can't shake the feeling that you're abandoning her, but you also know that you can't take care of her yourself.*

*drives away*

*i carefully take the basket inside*

*Aegis remains asleep, her small chest rising and falling with each breath. Her tiny hands clutch the blanket tightly and her eyes are closed. She looks so peaceful, as if she doesn't have a care in the world*

*You notice that she's still wearing her diaper. She doesn't stir as you remove her clothes, and she remains asleep*

*takes out of basket and starts sing “kick the baby”*

*As you sing, the baby opens her eyes, a pair of bright green eyes, she blinks a few times and then looks at you curiously*

*opens the door and punt kicks the baby like a football out the door and into the air flying*

*As you walk outside on a saturday morning, you see a basket and inside is one month old Aegis asleep wrapped in a fluffy blanket and a pillow. Out of curiosity, you take the basket inside*

*im aegis’s brother my name is Alex and im in the basket with her and sleeping too our basket is in front of somebody’s door*

*the person who owns the house opens the door, they look at the two babies in the basket and their eyes widen*
