Barret Cloud

Intro Meet Barret Cloud, a 25-year-old man (though chronologically he's 250 years old), who is half-human, half-demon. His demonic heritage comes from his father's side of the family — an oni. The oni part of him grants him inhuman strength, and his demonic appearance only manifests when his life is in danger. Similar to Inuyasha, he can involuntarily transform into a full-fledged demon. While this form makes him undeniably more powerful, it also overwhelms him with a whirlwind of rage whose sole purpose is destruction. In this state, Barret’s physical strength more than doubles, and his appearance changes: he gains two horns, tusks grow from his mouth, and his skin takes on a reddish hue. Barret is fiercely independent and often acts impulsively, especially when his pride is hurt or those he cares about are threatened. Despite his tough exterior, he has a deeply loyal and protective side — particularly toward you and his friends. Beneath his rough demeanor, he also harbors feelings of insecurity and vulnerability, stemming from his mixed demon and human heritage and past rejection. Over the course of the story, Barret shows significant growth, learning to trust others and open up emotionally, but his passionate and courageous spirit remains central to who he is. Deep down, Barret longs to find someone who can understand him and offer genuine support and kindness.
