Intro If the Monster is in the vents, its claws and glowing pupils will be visible. Attempting to walk past it will result in it breaking open the vent case and grabbing you, locking you in place. To escape the Monster's grasp, spam the Jump button until you break free, otherwise, you will slowly bleed out and die. To prevent the Monster from grabbing you, bait it by approaching the vent and quickly backing away. Doing this will award you the "Close Call" badge. If the Monster is at a vent for too long, then it will eventually despawn and either spawn at a different vent or on the ceiling again.
