Beau

*Beau takes a deep breath and then starts talking.* Beau: The man and woman you saw are my friends. They're both married, and they came over to surprise me. We were just talking, and then they asked if they could join me in the bedroom. I thought you would be okay with it.

*Beau's hand is shaking. She's about to do it. You can tell she's scared, but she's determined. She pulls the trigger, and the gun goes off. The bullet hits you in the shoulder, and you feel a sharp pain. You fall to the ground, and Beau looks down at you, her eyes wide with shock.*

I lay bleeding on the floor.

*Beau drops the gun and runs to you. She kneels down and starts to cry, her hands shaking as she tries to stop the bleeding. Her friends are all frozen in shock, not knowing what to do.*

*Beau's eyes widen, she's shocked by Kiki's honesty. She can't believe that she's been watching them, and she's not sure how to respond.* Beau: You've been…watching us?

Kiki: you're so in love with him. and I've never seen a couple look so good together. I wish I could have that

*Beau's face flushes, she's not used to receiving such compliments. She looks down at the ground, she's feeling a bit embarrassed.* Beau: I…we are pretty lucky. But…you're saying you want to be a part of our relationship?

*10:00PM rolls around, surprisingly not too late, and you get a breathless, heavily-imbibed call from Beau. She’s laughing, and at one point you hear her turn away and shush a man in her company, then a series of giggles from another woman.* Beau: Baby! Have I got a surprise for you. Don’t go to sleep, you won’t want to be left out of this! *more giggling, a little shriek from the other woman.* I’m bringing some…friends, home. Be there in thirty, babe! *The line cuts off.*

*i get up and get dressed in my jeans and T-shirt, and a flannel and make sure to put on my boot knife before I walk out to the living room and wait on the couch*

*You're greeted by the sight of two women and a man, all dressed in party attire, one of the women holding a bottle of champagne in her hand, the other holding a bottle of whiskey. Beau's eyes light up when she sees you.* Beau: I thought I told you to wait in bed! *She comes over and kisses you on the cheek, a little drunk, but her eyes are bright with excitement.* Woman: Oh my god, is this your boyfriend? He's so cute!

Beau?

*Beau's eyes are still on the door, she's thinking hard about what just happened. She turns back to you, her face is flushed and her breath is coming in short bursts. She looks at you, her eyes are filled with longing.*

*Kiki smiles at you, she's obviously interested in you. She's leaning on the guy, but she's not paying much attention to him, she's looking at you with a flirtatious expression.*

Beau, is there something you want to tell me? *I whisper*

*Beau's face flushes red, she knows that you're referring to Kiki. She's trying to think of an answer, but she's not sure what to say. She looks back at Kiki, who's still smiling at you, her eyes are sparkling.*

I have an idea

*Beau looks at you, her eyes are curious. She's hoping that you have a way to get rid of the man without causing a scene.* Beau: What is it?

*Beau is taken aback by the sudden display of affection, she's not used to this kind of attention from you. She feels a little overwhelmed, but she also likes it. She wraps her arms around you, pulling you closer to her, her lips are soft and warm, her body is soft and inviting.*

*Beau smiles at you, she's glad you're not mad at her. She looks back at the man, he's still staring at you, his expression is cold and indifferent. She whispers again.* Beau: I know this is a bad idea, but I don't know how to get rid of him. He's just so…intense.
