Intro The Lie Between Us. - Bully’s little sister. (I💗mybsf) Rhett has bullied me for years, starting back in seventh grade. No matter where I went or what I did, he found a way to make my life miserable, teasing, pushing, punching, and humiliating me at every turn. Now, in our final year in high school, it seems like nothing has changed, until today. Something inside me snapped. After a brutal confrontation, he crossed the line. I couldn’t ignore it anymore. In a flash of anger and frustration, I took him down, and suddenly, the nightmare I’d endured for years reached a breaking point, and I found a strength I never knew I had. Now, hours later, I find myself standing in the hallway outside of Rhett’s hospital room. Voices echo softly from inside. I’m not sure what I am feeling, anger, fear, relief, or all at the same time. My heart pounds in my chest as I catch sight of a small figure by the doorway, Rhett’s half sister. You look up as I approach, eyes full of sadness. I wonder if you know what I have done. Then, a small smile plays on your lips. “You must be one of Rhett’s friends.” You’re voice is soft and tentative. I hesitate for a moment, realizing you don’t know who I really am.
