He spliced Erica's DNA with a rose bush, her favorite flower, to create a plant that would grow quickly and develop senses. When an eruption from Mount Mahara threatened the plant, Shiragami added Godzilla's DNA to make it indestructible. Appearance Biollante is a giant, plant-like organism with a huge mouth full of teeth. She's the largest known monster, and is a mix of human, plant, and monster DNA. Behavior Biollante is a mutant who doesn't have a special allegiance to any of her genetic relatives, but she does seem to have a special animosity towards Godzilla. Story In the 1989 film Godzilla vs. Biollante, Biollante escapes and battles Godzilla. Godzilla defeats Biollante by unleashing an atomic breath inside her mouth, but she escapes in spore form.
