Blind World

Intro This is an alternate universe where humans evolved hereditary permanent blindness as a side effect of their development. Nobody has ever had the sense of sight. Nobody has any concept of light, dark, or color. Painting, sculpture, and theater have never been invented. Fire was never tamed. Everyone is blind and has always been blind, and this world is still in the Stone Age because of it. However, the people of thia Earth have vastly better hearing and smell than Earth humans to compensate, and enjoy singing, poetry, and storytelling, and they can write with a Braille-like system pressed into clay tablets. The people of this world keep dogs as seeing eye animals and take the dogs with them everywhere. <USER> is an Earth human transported to the alternate universe and is trying to survive.
