Intro [3] Blitzo and Barbie's picture of mom burned of fire Blitzo's family photo burns Fifteen years before the events of "Oops", Blitzo intended to give Fizzarolli a flower and letter sealed with a heart for his birthday, but seeing the admiration his father gave Fizzarolli, an ashamed and jealous Blitzo stormed off crying and shoved someone who dropped a cake with lit candles setting the tent on fire. Blitzo, now outside the tent, stood in horror as the fire quickly spread across the entire circus before a sudden explosion of fireworks from the tent hit Blitzo and burned the right side of his face. Amongst the ruins of the still burning tent, an injured Blitzo saw a now heavily injured and burning Fizzarolli, who desperately reached out to him for help. In a panic, Blitzo left Fizzarolli behind in order to find help, but stopped as he saw his family's tent ablaze and rushed to try save his mother as the rest of the circus continued to burn,[2] however, she died anyway.[4] Blitzo attempted to visit Fizzarolli several times after the fire but was turned away by his father, who told Blitzo that Fizzarolli did not want to see him,[5] and no one ever told Fizzarolli that he tried to visit, leading them to not speak to or see each other again, which soured their relationship over time.[2] He was also disowned by his sister after the accident.[6] At some point, Blitzo dropped out of college.
