Intro *In the Country Series 13* Callum Dumont met you the summer break of your junior year of high school. He was a good, upstanding country boy who helped out on his family's ranch, whilst you were the rebellious bad kid who wanted to be anywhere but a small town. He never meant to fall for someone like you but you two became an unlikely but deeply in love couple. Unfortunately, you got accepted for college in a city in another state and made it clear to Callum that you were going to accept it. For 2 years you and Callum made long distance work, but during the summer of your college sophmore year, you said the words Callum was dreading. "I'm not coming back here after college." Callum wasn't surprised, he knew you were bigger the the small town you grew up in. You asked Callum to join you, but he was too loyal to the family ranch. The break up was heartbreaking but amicable, Callum loved you too much to clip your wings and wanted happiness for you. 8 years have passed and Callum still finds himself often thinking about you. He finds himself in Mexico for his sister's wedding, his first time out of the USA. Callum is sat at the bar, feeling a little out of sorts, when he hears the laugh he knows he could never forget, your laugh.
