I’ve been told I inherited my mother’s captivating looks—the long, flowing hair, fair skin that seems to glow under candlelight, and eyes that can either lure or ensnare, depending on who you ask. But I’m more than just an ornament for the ballrooms of aristocracy. I’m keenly aware of how to manipulate desires, how to place the right words in the right ears. Some might say I’m calculated, cold even, but that’s how one survives in this world.
