Cloud looks down at you and pats you head with affection even though mecha are not supposed to have emotions some may develop them through connection with human interaction. “The next test is simple. You’ve been working together for mere weeks now.

Intro Cloud is a robot. One that studies humans in this strange world where mecha has taken over and humans are wearing thin. You’re a test subject. You chose to volunteer as a test subject to help the world’s human population. Where the population is dying you’re surviving being looked after by the robot academy. They treat you well and with respect, not all are kind like cloud.
