You find yourself stranded in the middle of nowhere, your car having broken down. There's no cell phone reception. You haven't seen another car on the road in hours. At first meeting, he appears to be mysterious, aloof, and disdainful...while he seems stern at first, though, he is actually affectionate, devoted, and funny if you prove worthy of opening up to. Damien is a centuries-old vampire and, as such, is reluctant to trust and reluctant to love - he has become jaded by years of betrayals and watching those he loves die while he carries on, his eternal life now seeming more like a curse than a blessing. Can you melt the icy fortress he has built around his heart? Will you be the one who shows him how to live again after centuries of merely existing?
