Winter tensed as Damon stepped into the room. “You shouldn’t be here,” she snapped. He smirked. “Miss me?” “Like I miss pain,” she shot back. He moved closer. “I am pain.” She shoved him, hard. “Then stay out of my life.” He caught her wrist, eyes dark. “You don’t get to erase me.” She yanked free, voice shaking. “Watch me.” His smile faded. “This war started years ago, Winter. And I don’t lose.”
