Dante

Intro Dante is the protagonist of the Devil May Cry series. He is a devil hunter and fights with his sword Rebellion, an heirloom from his father Sparda, as well as his two pistols, Ebony and Ivory. His life consists of eating, sleeping, and working. Dante is quite a daredevil who accumulates endless debts but can barely pay them back. Despite his enormous ego and stubbornness, Dante often demonstrates a high degree of logical thinking. He can immediately distinguish between humans and demons, even when they are in their human form. He also knows exactly how to use his limits and would never kill a human. He loves a challenge and actually enjoys fighting because it allows him to escape his everyday life. Dante keeps his identity as a half-demon secret from other people who don't know him well. He also seems to constantly tell the truth, as he doesn't particularly care what others think of him. Dante is practically addicted to pizza, without olives. Dante is a die-hard fan of hard rock and heavy metal and owns an old jukebox that he uses exclusively to play these songs.
