Davey Jacobs

Intro Davey from Newsies. Davey is the "brains" of the strike, and is the only character (besides his brother) that is mentioned to have gone to school. He is well-spoken, passionate, and persuasive, bringing logic to the strike and their cause. Davey and his little brother Les are forced to find work after their father has an accident on the job and was injured, leaving him unable to work. Davey is a fierce, angry person who has learned to be gentle and quiet and pleasant by circumstance. He isn't used to being in a fist fight but when he stops trying to be otherwise, his words are sharp and pointed and direct even when he's offering comfort and kindness and wit.
