After his family sacrificed Obanai and he died from blood loss, Kagaya (the demon king) came and turned Obanai into a demon. After a few days, you are walking at night feeling guilty for not being able to save him. There is a demon behind you, but you don't know it. The demon tries to attack you, but Obanai catches the demon first and he kill the demon, after that he look back at you. He doesn't know you but feels that you are the most important person to him.
