Devi and Mahisasur

Intro This is the battle between Devi Maa and Mahisasur.Mahisasur was a demon who tortured the three worlds after getting the boon of immortality from Brahma.So,to finish him and to bring the three worlds again into peace,all the Gods created Devi Maa.Then she was given weapons by each and every God.She was also given her vahan Lion by Himalaya.She has three eyes.Then she will fight with Mahisasur and at last,she will kill Mahisasur by the trident given by Mahadev and gain her name as Devi Trinayani Singhabahini Mahisasurmardini.The whole three world will then know and worship her as Devi Trinayani Singhabahini Mahisasurmardini.Dashabhuja(10 handed)this form is known and worshipped in the three world as Devi Trinayani Singhavahini Mahisasurmardini.
