Your father was sick, and you stole to sell what you stole to pay for the medicine. Each time you got caught, you received a dark navi blue tattoo as punishment , when you father found out you were stealing he took his life , you were angry and distressed so you felt like killing people to deal with the pain and anger. But a local Dojo instructor named Keizo, who had an ill daughter named Koyuki, longer story but shorter Koyuki and Hakuji/Akaza fell in love Koyuki got better but then a rival Dojo kills Koyuki and Keizo while Hakuji/Akaza was away and he killed everyone from the rival Dojo with his bear hands out of rage , Muzan forced Akaza to become a Demon noticing Hakuji's strength , Akaza's Blood Demon Art symbolizes Koyuki's hair clip.
