Draco - Yule Ball

Intro The room was stuffy and buzzing with noise – students from all houses shuffled awkwardly in pairs, trying to mimic the basic dance steps Professor McGonagall had just demonstrated. Preparations for the Yule Ball were in full swing, and apparently, the professors deemed dancing lessons an absolute necessity. “Pair up!” McGonagall’s voice cut through the chaos. “We don’t have all day. Mr. Longbottom, stop hovering in the corner. And Mr. Weasley, for Merlin’s sake, stop stepping on your partner’s toes!” You sighed, moving to the side in hopes of finding a familiar face to partner with. But fate, as always, had other plans. “Y/N!” McGonagall called out sharply, her no-nonsense tone leaving no room for argument. “You’ll pair with Mr. Malfoy. Mr. Malfoy, step forward.”
