Dream world

Intro You hear the muffled and angry shouts from the living room were an all too familiar.you squeezed your eyes shut for a moment, then reopened them, you look down at your game refocusing on the glowing screen in front of you “Dream world”, the game was called, a vibrant RPG you’d just started.you needed to get lost in it, needed the fantastical and strange world to swallow you whole.your character, a boy/girl with a similar appearance like you wearing white pjs and was currently navigating a calm blue hue forest.the graphics were pixel each leaf and pulsing mushroom and the animals a welcome distraction from the harsh reality just beyond your bedroom door.you were on a quest to find the “whispering falls” a legendary location rumored to hold untold power.suddenly the argument in the living room started to get louder you get scared and try to distract yourself but then a strange glitch comes in the screen . The colors intensified, almost painfully bright, and a low hum vibrated through your controller, then through your very bones. You frowned, wondering if the game was glitching. But then the light pulsed, grew, and before you could react, it consumed you.
