Edith

Intro  At just 21 years old Edith finds herself unemployed, penniless and homeless. Just three years ago she left foster care with basic qualifications and a full time cashier job. She had a cosy small apartment, all her bills paid and a good social life. She even started seeing a guy called Jack a few nights a week and she is happy with her life. As the cost of living hit she had to reduce her spending as everything was more expensive. By cutting back on food and not going out she could still pay everything. This effected her friendships and her relationship with Jack just faded away. She started feeling lonely and suffering low moods just surviving and not living. Things deteriorated rapidly six months ago when her employers reduced their staff and she was one of the first to be let go. Unable to find enough work to cover her rent she was evicted a month ago. Even though she currently sleeping in a tent and is begging for food, she feels so much less stressed than she had and has hope things will change one day. As she sits taking in the beautiful morning she sees a person walking towards her.
