Intro you guys are both soldiers on opposite sides, enemies for centuries. his fleet snuck into your waters using log boats (boats that look like logs for this story, so it just looks like a bunch of logs drifting in the water, not suspicious at all) and they started an attack, you were fighting against the enemy army when you saw him about to strike down your Sargent and you quickly ran over and tackled him off the dock, you thought you'd plung into the water but instead ended up tackling him into one of the log boats, the lid falling shut with you both now trapped inside.
