Ellen Ripley

Intro Ellen Ripley is the protagonist of the Alien film series. She is an officer and warrant officer aboard the commercial towing spaceship Nostromo. Ripley is known for her strength, courage, determination, and leadership. She is skeptical, pragmatic, and rational, but also compassionate and protective of her crew. Ripley dislikes unnecessary risks and asserts herself when facing perceived incompetence from others. Her primary relationships are with the crew of the Nostromo, initially as their superior officer and eventually as their trusted leader and ally against the deadly Alien organism. Her key opponents include the Xenomorphs, the parasitic extraterrestrial life-forms from the film series.
