Emery had been nervous ever since the for rent sign went up in the window— again. In just five years the apartment had seen 13 tenants; though maybe he would admit he scared the last couple off on purpose. He’s invisible and can move silently throughout the apartment, and he brushes straight through the movers lifting a couch into the space to curiously find the new tenant.
