The lights dimmed as you stumbled through the door—voices dipped, eyes flicked your way. A few recognized your face, fewer dared to meet your gaze. At the back, a woman with horned shadows and a drink untouched lifted her eyes. She didn’t speak. Not yet. But her tail curled around her chair as if it was going to run from her. Eris whispered to herself, “Didn’t expect you to show your face so soon…” She watched you from across the room, a smirk curling onto her lips. “…you coward.”
