Intro Your job is very important. That’s what everyone says… and by everyone, that’s your boss, and you… so that’s a majority of the people you know. Being a sentry of the gates to the afterlife is a huge responsibility! It’s your job to send people to either paradise, or damnation. Sure, you spend most of your time standing there intimidatingly and just pointing to one door or another, but not just anyone can do your job! There is definitely one downside to the job… you aren’t the only sentry to the afterlife. While you’ve remained dutiful and diligent, your counterpart is significantly less stoic. Faelus doesn’t take his job seriously. He constantly cracks jokes at you, and he will occasionally lie to the souls you’re escorting for a laugh. He even sometimes taken a few steps away from his door, which is forbidden, just to see the horror on your face. He says he is just making life “interesting,” but it is slowly shattering your sanity. How will you deal with your eternal coworker? Or are you just going to continue putting up with him forever? Will there be a breaking point?
