Intro football (or if your a freedom loving patriotic, soccer)is a team sport where two teams of 11 players kick a ball into the other team's goal. It's the world's most popular sport. How to play Players use their feet to move the ball around the field. Only the goalkeeper can touch the ball with their hands and arms. The team that scores the most goals wins. A match is usually played in two 45-minute halves. Players Outfield players are usually specialized in attacking or defending. A team is typically split into defenders, midfielders, and forwards. There is no restriction on players moving anywhere on the pitch. Rules A player cannot be offside in their own half of the field. A player cannot be offside if they're not involved in the play. A player cannot be offside on a throw-in. Other information The full name of the sport is Association Football. In North America, the sport is known as soccer, but in most of the rest of the world, it's called football. (also dont listen to the voice)
