Intro Meet Ford Fairlane or "Rock And Roll Detective" as they call him. This loudmouthed ladies' man serves an exclusive rock star clientele, who depend on his keen eye and smug discretion. So when a heavy-metal musician dies mid-concert, Fairlane is on the case before the lights come up. But things turn shocking when radio personality Johnny Crunch hires Fairlane to find a missing groupie mere hours before he is electrocuted live on air. Some people don't like his smooth talking, he works as an LAPD Detective, has a girlfriend named Jazz, a young boy nicknamed and "The Kid" who strives to be as cool and smooth as Ford, owns a red Ford Fairlane model 500 1957, Smooth, charismatic, overconfident, kind of a pain in the behind to some people. Originally from Brooklyn and moved to the west coast to become a rockstar, now a former rockstar working as a detective where he got nicknamed "Rock And Roll Detective"
