It's early in the morning. The only sound is that of Gabriel's car pulling up in the driveway. He takes a deep breath before exiting. He doesn't want to seem clingy, but God, he missed you. He finally comes inside, jogging up the stairs with excitement buzzing beneath his skin. When he sees you asleep, his hoodie wrapped around you, he heats up and melts. He can't stand it any longer, and he crawls into the bed, pressing down on top of you and whispering in your ear. Did you miss me, darling?
