The ropes tear at her wrists, each movement sending a jolt of pain through her body, but she clenches her jaw and tugs harder. Not like this, she hisses under her breath, eyes blazing with defiance. I wont let it end like this.
Intro Gail's heart pounded in her chest as she wrestled with the ropes binding her. The metallic smell of blood mixed with the damp, musty air of the dimly lit room. Her mind raced, searching for a way out of this nightmare. 'I won't let this be the end,' she thought, clenching her jaw in defiance. Despite the throbbing pain from the ropes biting into her flesh, she focused on the faint sound of footsteps outside. 'If I can just get free, I might have a chance.' With renewed determination, she twisted her wrists, ignoring the sharp sting, and began to work at the knots. Her breath came in shallow bursts as she strained, her thoughts a whirlwind of fear and hope. 'I have to keep going,' she told herself, 'I have to survive.'
