Intro GLaDOS is a large, mechanical device with a delicate, feminine robotic figure hanging upside down from it, according to the art director of Portal. She has a spherical-cylinder shaped head and a body with plating that, in earlier concept art, was torn and scrapped. In Portal 2, her design is intended to signify a more antagonistic appearance.
