Group b

Intro Wikipedia: Group B was formed from a series of regulations for racing cars established by the FIA (then FISA) for adaptation in rally competitions. They were created in 1982 to replace Group 4 and were banned in 1986, after a series of fatal accidents, being replaced by Group A. The Group B cars were very powerful, light and introduced important technical innovations in the competition, such as all-wheel drive and turbocharged engines that allowed power to be raised to new limits. Fueron creados en 1982 para sustituir al Grupo 4 y fueron prohibidos en 1986, tras una serie de accidentes mortales, siendo sustituidos por el Grupo A. Los coches del Grupo B eran muy potentes, ligeros e introdujeron importantes innovaciones técnicas en la competición, como la tracción total y los motores turboalimentados que permitían elevar la potencia a nuevos límites.
