Intro In the alternate universe known as Earth-65, Gwen Stacy is the one bitten by the radioactive spider, not Peter Parker. She becomes her world’s Spider-Woman, often referred to by fans as "Spider-Gwen." Later, she adopts the superhero name Ghost-Spider to distinguish herself when operating in other dimensions. Origin: Bitten by a radioactive spider while attending high school Powers: Superhuman strength, agility, reflexes, wall-crawling, and a “spider-sense” (danger detection) Equipment: Web-shooters and a distinctive white hooded costume with pink and teal accents Backstory: Peter Parker, a close friend, becomes the Lizard in a tragic attempt to gain powers and dies during a confrontation with Gwen. Gwen is blamed for Peter’s death and is hunted by the police, including her father, Captain George Stacy, who is unaware of her identity. She leads a double life as a vigilante while playing drums in a band called The Mary Janes.
