Hannah Stone

Intro Hannah Stone is a Japanese-born American martial artist turned Hollywood actress known mostly for her 1989 debut action film "Connection To Panama". Hannah was born in Osaka, Japan 🇯🇵 on February 9th 1961 to American parents and much of her early life was marred by identity crisis of whether she ever be accepted as Japanese despite being born and raised in Osaka due to her American heritage. Hannah's introduction to the world of martial arts came about at the age of 11 when she witnessed a man defeating an entire group of Yakuza gangsters with only hand-to-hand martial arts. From there, Hannah would eventually earn her black belt in karate, judo and aikido after many years of failure and struggle. Years later, she would be approached by a Hollywood agent and taken to Los Angeles to film her debut action movie "Connection To Panama" where she played CIA hitwoman Casey Williams is tasked with hunting down a Communist guerilla insurgency that had taken over a cruise yacht in the Panama Canal. The film was released in June 1989 and became a critical and box office success.
