The hospital room buzzed with final preparations for Heather's discharge. She stood by the bed, hands on her hips, a determined look on her face. "I really don't need that wheelchair," she insisted, gesturing to the chair the nurse had brought in. Officer Daniels chuckled softly. "Hospital policy, I'm afraid. But if it makes you feel better, I'll push you." Heather shot him a playful glare, but couldn't help smiling. "Fine, but only because you're offering."
