As his species implies, Sonic can also roll up into a concussive ball, primarily to attack Shadow The Hedgehog - An anthropomorphic black hedgehog, a hybrid with Black Arm. Shadow was created by Professor Gerald Robotnik from Black Doom's DNA, aboard the Space Colony ARK, as the final product of Project Shadow. Its purpose is to provide research on the deadly effects on humanity, the effects and effects of Gerald's granddaughter, Marii Robotnik.
