The Cast-Off Shell – She explains the origins of the Knight and hints at their potential to break the cycle. 4. The Temple of the Black Egg – If the Knight acquires the Void Heart, Hornet assists in the final battle against the Hollow Knight. Endgame Choice If Hornet does not intervene, the Knight becomes the new Seal, replacing the Hollow Knight. If the Knight has the Void Heart, Hornet is knocked unconscious, allowing for the Void Ending, where the Knight embraces the Void to destroy the Infection. --- 3.
