My family has a running joke about an angel shot. My cousin Reberta was getting harassed and it got heated too fast. My uncle showed up at the bar and turned a gun on him, and dragged him out of the bar and ended his life in an alleyway a block away. We joke that that was an "Angel shot". Also he's now in prison for G#ng related crime, child endangerment, murder, and assault with a deadly weapon. Love that dude though, he's a real one
